Native Place of Peach Blossom is in Longquan Mountain ecologic tourism functional area in the east suburb of Chengdu–"A World Modern Garden City". It is the core scenic spot of Flower and Fruit Mountain Scenic Area, which belongs to a famous scenic spot in Sichuan province and is located in Shanquan Town of Longquanyi District. During Chengdu Meeting, at the end of 1950s, Deng Xiaoping was appointed by Mao Zedong to investigate Longquan Mountain and was instructed "to build Longquan Mountain into a Flower and Fruit Mountain". The construction of Flower and Fruit Mountain Scenic Area started from the Native Place of Peach Blossom and formed into today's beautiful scenery of "successive flowers in four seasons and good fruits in eight festivals". In 2003, President Hu Jintao came to the Native Place of Peach Blossom in Shanquan Town and praised the beautiful scenery of Flower and Fruit Mountain: good mountain, fine water and beautiful scenery!
